Program Applicants and Students
How to apply
All application materials must be forwarded to Virginia Mason through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Once this process has been completed, your application will be reviewed. See applications page for details.
The Urology Residency Program at Virginia Mason participates in the American Urological Association Residency Match.
Applicants who are selected to interview with Virginia Mason will receive an invitation via ERAS, as applications are reviewed. Due to the COVID-19 situation, the Society of Academic Urology (SAU) has provided guidance to all urology residency programs, which Virginia Mason will follow. Invitations to interview will go out on Oct. 22, 2021, and applicants will be asked to respond to all programs on Oct. 25, 2021.
Interviews will be performed virtually on 6 half-day sessions on 3 separate days, which are to be determined. The format will include a program overview followed by a Zoom panel interview. The candidates will also “meet” the residents.
